Privacy Policy

Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all Author Tools products and pages, including the Content Multiplier, the Book Amplifier, surveys, and any tool added in the future.
Information collected
Accounts use an email address, a password, and an optional display name. Survey responses may include your name, email, selections, and comments.
When you use our tools we process the content you paste or upload, such as articles, posts, transcripts, manuscripts, and covers, along with book details, summaries, extracted passages, profiles, briefs, generated documents, slides, email sequences, and saved versions so you can return to your work. Content pasted into the Content Multiplier is processed to produce your results and is not saved to your account.
We also record consent timestamps, legal document versions, and privacy or support requests.
Sensitive information
Remove confidential editorial notes before uploading; document comments and notes can be extracted and processed. Do not submit health information, financial account details, government identifiers, biometric data, or other restricted sensitive data.
Why we process information
We use your information to provide sign-in, private saved work, analysis and AI-assisted generation, revisions, downloads, support, and consent records. Your content is not used to generate resources for other accounts.
AI processing and providers
To fulfill your requests, content you submit (including relevant manuscript passages, book information, and instructions) is sent through the Lovable AI Gateway to third-party AI model providers such as OpenAI and Google. These providers process content under their own terms and may retain limited data for abuse monitoring. Providers may change over time.
Private storage and access
Uploaded files are stored in private storage, and saved work is accessible only to the signed-in account that owns it. We do not publish public links to your files. These safeguards reduce risk but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Saved material remains available until you delete it or request account deletion. Deleting a book removes its records, passages, resources, versions, and stored files. Account deletion requests are reviewed and fulfilled by an administrator.
Deleted information may persist for a limited period in routine backups, provider systems, or logs, and certain records may be kept where required by law.
Cookies and monitoring
Sign-in uses browser storage and secure cookies. Error reporting and operational logs help us keep the service working. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Request-limit counters store a hashed address, not the raw address, for up to two days.
Privacy requests and contact
Signed-in users can submit support, privacy, and account-deletion requests through Account Settings or the Contact / Support page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version and date shown on this page identify the current policy.
