Terms of Service

Introduction and acceptance

These Terms of Service apply to every Author Tools product and page, including the Content Multiplier, the Book Amplifier, surveys, and any tool added in the future (together, the "service"). By accessing or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service provides AI-assisted tools that help authors create content, marketing materials, lead magnets, workbooks, action plans, keynote presentations, workshops, and other resources derived from content you provide.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of the manuscripts, articles, posts, transcripts, summaries, documents, frameworks, and other original content you upload, paste, or submit to any Author Tools product. Author Tools does not claim ownership of your original content or intellectual property.

Limited license to process content

By submitting content, you grant Author Tools and its authorized service providers a limited, nonexclusive license to host, store, reproduce, analyze, process, and transform your content solely as reasonably necessary to provide the services you request, maintain your saved work, and operate the service in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

This license does not authorize Author Tools to sell, publish, commercially exploit, or distribute your content independently of providing the requested service.

The license ends when the applicable content is deleted, subject to the retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

User warranties and upload rights

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that you own the content or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use it; that your submission and requested processing do not violate third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights; that you are authorized to submit the content to the third-party technology providers used to operate the service; and that your content does not violate applicable law.

You are responsible for the content you submit.

AI-generated outputs

Author Tools uses artificial intelligence to analyze submitted content and generate outputs. AI-generated materials may contain inaccuracies, omissions, unsupported statements, fabricated references, similarities to existing third-party material, or other errors.

You are responsible for independently reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving all generated materials before publishing, posting, distributing, presenting, selling, or otherwise using them.

Author Tools does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, original, copyrightable, noninfringing, legally compliant, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Rights to generated content

As between you and Author Tools, and to the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party rights, you may use, modify, publish, and commercially distribute the outputs generated for you. Author Tools does not claim exclusive ownership of your generated outputs.

AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection in whole or in part, and similar outputs may be generated for other users.

Third-party technology

Author Tools uses third-party AI, hosting, storage, and technology providers to deliver the service. Content may be transmitted to these providers as necessary to fulfill your requests, subject to their agreements and the Privacy Policy.

No guaranteed results

Author Tools does not guarantee book sales, leads, followers, email subscribers, speaking engagements, workshop bookings, business growth, revenue, audience engagement, or any other outcome. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service and its outputs are provided on an AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Author Tools and its owners, operators, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, loss of data, or losses arising from reliance on AI-generated materials.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Author Tools and its owners and operators from third-party claims arising from your submitted content, infringement of third-party rights, unlawful use of the service, or material breach of these Terms.

This provision does not extend to Author Tools’ own wrongful conduct where prohibited by applicable law.

Account termination

Author Tools may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, unlawful activity, security risks, or misuse of the service, subject to applicable law.

Content deletion

You may delete your saved content or request deletion of your account and associated materials. Deletion and backup retention are described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version and date shown on this page identify the current Terms. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated Terms; some tools may ask you to confirm again.
